See what we’ve done for some of our clients

A track record of success goes a long way in predicting future results. MCS has a reputation for coming through for all our clients. Here are a few examples:

Financial Services Case Study

A Financial Services client needed 200,000 personalized proxy ballots laser printed, inserted and mailed for an important vote. However, data security safeguards in place by the firm hindered production and jeopardized the timely delivery of the ballots.

After an overview of MCS’ security measures and protocols, and a demonstration of our FTP site, the client’s data security concerns were alleviated. Once investor information was uploaded, MCS configured the data into a more useable format and spot on quality control ensured data match.

With MCS’ solutions in place, production time was cut by 3 days. This much-needed increase in production gave voters time to return their ballots so their votes could be counted before the critical meeting. Plus with presorting and other US Post Office prep, MCS saved the client 50% on postage costs. For the client’s next proxy ballot, MCS has recommended a process that can reduce postage costs by an additional 20%.

Human Resources Case Study

A large warehouse retailer needed 13,000 employee open enrollment benefit kits dropped-shipped to 198 stores in multiple states. In the past, the open enrollment process overwhelmed human resources because a large number of employees had uncertainties about their current benefits, incentives and coverage.

MCS’ solution was to take what was typically a generic piece and personalize it with pre-populated information tailored to the individual employee. Of course, with such a large amount of personal information, not only for the employees, but for spouses and children as well, data security and accuracy were a major concern. MCS’ extensive Data Management experience and security protocols would be instrumental in the successful implementation of the program.

By combining our Data Management skills with our Digital Print On Demand capabilities, we were able to create personalized open enrollment kits that could accommodate up to 10 inserts. The 13,000 employee kits along with 3,000 new hire kits were assembled, packaged and appropriately labeled for correct shipment to one of 198 stores in 15 states.

The personalized kits saved countless hours for both human resources and store employees, and nearly eliminated what had become a productivity drain. Plus, by using Digital Print On Demand, the clients reduced printing and inventory storage costs.

Home Services Case Study

A large, regional lawn care company needed a partner to handle their 2,000,000-piece spring prospect mailing. Since this mailing had a special discount offer timed for the season, it was critical that it arrive in-home and on schedule. Plus existing customers who had already renewed for service were included in the data files requiring their names to be suppressed from the mailing.

Taking multiple lists, MCS’ Data Management experts managed merge/purge processing through several filters to suppress renewed customers, enhance data and ensure final file integrity. And to achieve the quickest in-home arrival, MCS sorted the mail for SCF delivery and direct shipped to each US Postal Service sectional facility. Plus to increase results, the initial mailing of the two-drop campaign coincided with weather conditions most optimum for the audience to be thinking of lawn care.

With MCS’ data and postal enhancements in place, the client saved over $100,000 in postage for the two mailings. We reduced production costs and maximized efficiencies by producing both mailings in a single process. In fact, the amount of money we saved our client in postage alone was greater than the production costs.
